The photos were selected out of 3500 works submitted to the secretariat of the exhibition by the jury including the veteran photographers Fakhreddin Fakhreddini and Mohammad Sattari.
Fakhreddini said that the expo will be one of the best photo exhibitions on nature over the past years, adding, “The collection is a good opportunity to introduce Iran’s natural attractions and I hope it will be displayed in foreign countries as well.”
Sattari is also convinced that the photo exhibition “Art and Nature” will be one of the best, adding, “I have seen many photos on Iran’s nature but no doubt this is the best of its kind before and after the Islamic Revolution.”
Good photography techniques, new issues, and creative visions were among the elements for selecting the work, both jury members said.
The exhibition will run until the end of November.
